La Festa Major de Sant Cugat va a tot drap amb la Baixada d'Andròmines
Centenars de santcugatencs omplen l'avinguda de Francesc Macià per gaudir amb la Baixada d'Andròmines
Més d'una desena de carruatges de tota mena han participat en una nova edició de la Baixada d'Andròmines de la Festa Major de Sant Cugat 2026. L'avinguda de Francesc Macià s'ha omplert de centenars de curiosos que han gaudit del descens dels vehicles personalitzats. L'objectiu era clar: arribar abaix de tot sense accidents i a la màxima velocitat possible. El resultat, dispar: mentre algunes andròmines han seguit una trajectòria perfecta, a altres els hi ha costat més. Però el més important és que la diversió i l'emoció ha acompanyat l'activitat durant tot aquest divendres, 26 de juny, a la tarda.

El públic, darrere de bales de palla que protegien els participants, no han parat d'animar els conductors. Entre la quinzena d'andròmines participants n'hi havia de tota mena: des de grans obres d'enginyeria a altres més rudimentàries i des de vaixells pirates a dracs voladors. Totes originals i creatives. Com sempre, s'han repartit premis al més ràpid, l'andròmina més original i a la preferida pel públic.
Organitzada pel truc 2 de l'Agrupament Escolta de Berenguer el Gran, la Baixada d'Andròmines ja s'ha consolidat com una de les activitats més populars i esperades per a petits i grans de la Festa Major de Sant Cugat. El 2024, l'agrupament va recuperar l'activita després de quatre anys sense fer-se i va prendre el relleu al Front Freak, antic organitzadors. Ara, tot sembla indicar que tindrem Baixada per molts més anys.
